The tablecloth is very thick but still drapes over the table and doesn't look like vinyl until you get close. i love design It goes so well with my light oak table and chairs. The table top brings new life to the table as the table top looks worn, but this cover hides the wear. I wiped it off, but the pattern didn't fade. My dogs gnawed at the ends of the fabric and it didn't rip like fabric on fabric. I can even cut off a piece at the end if I have to as the vinyl is not lined. I am very happy

It's my own fault for not understanding what PVC means for your health. I ordered this tablecloth and immediately opened the bag to let it air out. However, it was only today (6 weeks later) when we put away all our holiday things that I put them on the table and immediately had an allergic reaction to the tablecloth. Bought these in January 2019 and used them on our main kitchen table (two adults, two small children). I liked it at first, but over the months I realized it was low quality.
