First outlet of its kind to add USB connection to a GFCI outlet for easier charging, anywhere. Protect children using a patented “invisi-shutter” system to prevent the insertion of foreign objects while maintaining a discreet, invisible effect. Meets NEC Tamper-Resistant requirements. Provides reliable ground fault protection with a trip indicator light and reset button on the outlet for easy, accessible troubleshooting. Installs quickly thanks to a redesigned side wire cavity for easier access. Includes traditional power outlets, as well as one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port for convenient charging. Shares 2.0A charging capacity between both ports. Can provide ground fault protection to downstream outlets through feed-thru wiring. Self-tests every three seconds, ensuring continuous ground fault protection for greater safety. Additionally, in case of test failure, the indicator light (red LED) will flash to signal there is an issue and the outlet should be replaced. Equipped with proven SafeLock feature which disconnects power to the outlet if any critical components are damaged for added protection.

Outstanding quality and performance. Two USB A&C ports.

I have installed GFCI and USB combo outlets on both new builds and renovations. They offer great utility and convenience in today's world of USB charging. This one has USB-A and USB-C connectors for excellent compatibility with both. Prices have also gradually come down as they are becoming more popular and available from almost all manufacturers. Great design and quality, but limited USB performance. A very deep electrical box is required.

This GFCI/USB combo jack is a great way to reduce clutter when charging your phone/tablet in the kitchen, bathroom, garage or other GFCI protected area. As you'd expect from Pass & Seymour, the quality is top-notch, with tamper-resistant sockets that are secure, yet easy to use (much less finicky than other brands of TR sockets I've used). The device is equipped with a red LED display that only lights up in the event of an error, so that no disturbing lights can be seen during normal operation.
