If it ever turns off it will cover the cord. But I am really disappointed with the quality of not only the product but also its description. If I order an item from the Electronics category and I select ivory, I expect it to match other ivory electronics. It's not even close. And as others have pointed out, there's an ink transfer at the top. Please see photo.

This item is good for hiding a cord or two so your Uncle Bob can't trip over them. The only problem seems to be that it goes flat before you can use it. After I bought the third of them, I realized this. Before you unwrap it, soak it in a bucket of very hot water. Leave it there for about 20 minutes. Leave it in the driveway in the sun for about an hour. Voila! it is flat and will remain so.

It doesn't lay flat at all. Use the included tape. It will not lie flat. So we took our extra wide clear packing tape and applied several layers to the strip, thinking the tape would hold it until the plastic came loose, and then we removed it. nope It freed itself and curled up within minutes. We had to throw it away as we had cut it and couldn't return it so we didn't get our money back. Very dissatisfied with this product.

The device itself works but the tape that came with it is useless. I even cleaned the floor and block thoroughly before putting it down. It's ok at first, but after about 6 weeks of use it slips out of place and forms a sticky, gooey mass. Looks like I'll have to find some good quality double sided tape, clean the sticky crap off the floor and unit, and then put it back on the floor. I would also suggest using a heat gun to get the whole CURL out before you glue it.

I used it to cover floor wires and it seemed like a great option. Then I saw that she wasn't lying flat. It's made of heavy plastic and comes rolled up and in a small box. Therefore it seems to want to remain folded. There is double sided tape but it doesn't hold the wire case at all. It's useless if it doesn't lie flat. I hope someone writes to tell me how to lay it flat. Otherwise it's a waste of money and effort. If I can flatten it out then I'd say it's a very good product. Suggestions are…
