Works great for power and electrics

We have a 2005 Jayco 31 RKS and it's a great tool to have in your toolbox if you only have 110 volt duplex power. It's great that our 50A cable won't come loose when using a Honda EU2000i alternator in a Walmart car park. I've used this at home to power our only AC appliance with no issues. I would use a larger cable if available.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost ok

It works, but it's not perfect

This adapter is used to connect my house's 120v supply to my RV's 50 amp system to keep the batteries charged. Two complaints that make me give less than 5 stars: 1. It's difficult to fit in the 50 amp slot. I can always get this to work eventually, but the tolerances just don't seem to be enough to make it difficult.2. It would make more sense to buy an L-shaped adapter so that the cable hangs straight down.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Useless features

Defective and arrived a few days late.

I bought a 50A model for my 50A van. The metal connections inside the plug are bent and prevent it from plugging into my RV. It's aligned, but the pins inside won't allow my van's plug to go all the way into this plug. Also, it was a few days late. Contacted seller, replacement is on the way. If it actually shows up and works in time, I'll update my review.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

But so far so good. A few things to note

Five stars so far, I've just ordered this dogbone connector for my RV so I can use the Badic features when I plug it in at home. Let's see how it handles the sun harah AZ and how long it lasts. But so far so good. A few things to note: you need to move slowly and make sure the edge of the screw is lined up properly before screwing it in watertight. But other than that, there are no other problems.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not sure

Difficult to connect

This item was very difficult to connect to my van. I informed the seller of my problem and he wanted to take pictures of the item and my RV plug. I sent photos and decided there would be too many jump hoops and I decided to improve its performance by sawing (cutting out) parts of the item that I thought would do better and it really has some helped. . The product had several good reviews but it didn't suit me.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Null

Worked fine for several weeks but the LED on the adapter never came on. I thought it was weird but the power flowed to my 5th wheel. Every time I try to plug it in it disables the GFCI output. All switches and fuses in the 5th wheel are fine and everything works great from the alternator with 50 amp wire. I've narrowed it down to one adapter and am waiting for a new one to confirm.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Low

A great way to power up the rig at home if you're just doing maintenance.

We have a 36 ft camper with a fifth wheel and 50 amp shore cable. We live in an HOA which limits us on how often and for how long we can have an RV in our driveway. From time to time we bring it home for maintenance, cleaning or charging before a long journey. This 50 to 15 amp pigtail eliminates the hassle of lugging around a heavy power cord and two step-down plugs. This provides enough power to cool the fridge, run the carpet washer or turn on the interior lights without draining the…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So so
