Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Backlight adjustable Its pros: A beautiful, pleasant keyboard, the charge holds for a long time ~ 4-5 hours of use of average activity. I didn’t really use it in demanding applications, it’s hard to say whether it heats up a lot or not, but if you use it as an office laptop, then the temperature is quite room temperature. In general, a decent, convenient device. Got cons: Too heavy. There was a tiny dent from some, apparently, a grain of sand, on the side of that part of the laptop where the…

Love it but came with defective USB 3.0 currently under warranty

4 stars were too low because this item is amazing for the price! I wanted a cheap laptop with NVMe storage, expandable storage, a decent processor, and discrete graphics. It delivered and I loved it the week I had it. Unfortunately, I almost always use a mouse and the USB 3.0 ports don't work. I used the adapter and plugged the mouse dongle into the USB-C port while waiting for a response from Lenovo. Currently doing it for free. They even put me in touch with the company working on it so I…

Display Seems grainy, not sharp

Package arrived very well packaged and shipped with care. Easy to set up. The keyboard feels more like an old IBM ThinkPad business laptop, and that's fine. The size suits me. But the image on the monitor seems a bit grainy to me. Not as sharp as I had hoped. I'm not sure if this is related to my product or my settings. Plan to call Lenovo Customer Support for assistance. I will update my review in a few months.

DOA will not charge you anything

Item was DOA and will not be charged. I tried to get a replacement but they just refunded my purchase price and I would have to buy it again but now it's not for sale so I would end up paying over $100 extra.

  • Best in niche

Best Budget Gaming Laptop

When I first got the Nitro 5 I really liked it. It could hit 120 fps and was decent for most of my games. I love it. But when I had to upgrade, I honestly didn't want to spend too much as a student. I did a lot of research and yes the top brands ACER, ASUS, HP, ALIEN obviously had great laptops. But to find him was sent by God. I can run most of my games at 240 fps. Upgrading to 16GB of RAM and adding my HYBRID drive was flawlessly easy. The design is very elegant, fresh, effortlessly stylish…

Lots of cores, high clock - not only for gaming

[Update] The laptop has a free memory slot, so I added a second 8G memory card. It was fast, easy, cheap, and now I have a 16G RAM system. [Original review] I was looking for a computer with some appeal and reasonable specs from a brand I've had good luck with in the past. This Lenovo Ideapad seemed to fit the bill. I was surprised to find SSD mounting hardware in the box. I hope this means that opening the back doesn't void the warranty. I decided to use hardware to add 1T SSD. I tried prying…

Budget Real Games on a Portable Laptop

This laptop combines the powerful and proven Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics (April 2019) with the modern and efficient AMD Ryzen 5600H processor. The 5600H keeps you productive on the go with a small battery, while the GTX1650 offers affordable gaming performance. With a relatively low price, the specifications are not very high, but it is possible to increase both RAM and storage. Lenovo sacrificed endurance in this laptop, opting instead for lower cost and weight with a rather small battery…
