I left my original at the hotel. Sent to the wrong person. They paid me to replace it and I bought it. This is the real deal! Spanking brand, new, ex works. The cheap replacement I bought works but is much shorter. It's fine if you're near an outlet, but I don't have to worry about that. Plus, this one is simply better than a replacement.

I was wondering if I could buy this or a generic power supply on ebay for a much lower price. I'm very glad I went with it. The build quality is truly amazing and nowhere does the adapter say "universal" or "spare power supply" like the cheaper ones. We strongly encourage you to spend a few bucks more and buy this device.

I bought three of them. About two years later, one clicked next to a computer connector. I use my laptop every day. I understand why it ripped. Intensive use. Otherwise this cable works great with my older, very, very beloved Lenovo T530. I wish Lenovo would redesign the T530. or a model with the same touchpad! (Sorry for the laptop comment.) But the cable works great!

It works great. The cable is slightly longer and thinner than the original power adapter it replaced. The only issue I had was that the power cord was so poorly made that it couldn't stay plugged into a power source. It's so loose that the slightest bump could cause it to fall out of the opening on the converter block. I ended up fixing it using the power cord from my old PSU.

Luckily it's cheap because it's junk compared to my original X220 power supply and cable. The power cord to the adapter is dangling, had to be held in place with superglue - no push in connection even with everyday use, no pulling required to disconnect. The same goes for the plug in a laptop, it's much less durable and often falls out. How difficult is it to sell the same power cord that originally came with your device?

I have a small business that I buy Lenovo laptops for and this T520 is my favorite. At the time of writing it was already an old laptop so I tried 5 power cords: 2 from Lenovo, 1 from Revain 650W which didn't work, 1 from a Chinese company and this one. It's by far the best of them all because its power adapter is smaller and lighter, doesn't get hot, and the plugs fit well.
