Amazing laptop! in Computers and Tablets

Upgraded from an old yoga machine. Although this device doesn't switch to tablet mode, I don't really miss it. I LOVE the anti-glare screen, the great sound that's lightning fast, and the Lenovo keyboard just can't be fooled. Overall, I really like the Thinkpad X-1 Carbon.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Slightly torn

This laptop is $2,200 on Lenovo's website, but it's $1,500 on Revain.

At first I thought it was fake. I didn't expect the X1 Carbon with 7th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor to be so affordable. After opening it, I checked the system information. Everything is checked. This is indeed the 7th Gen Carbon x1. If you look at Lenovo's genuine website, you'll see that it costs $1,800 for a 256GB SSD and $2,200 for a 512GB SSD. It is very light (2.5 kg). He has a nice black and business look. 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD is all I need. I was thinking about getting a Dell XPS

Pros
  • The best in its niche

Big! Computers & Accessories

My wife and I use this laptop almost exclusively for college and it has been working great since I got it 3 weeks ago! I have no complaints about this laptop as it worked very well every day we used it. Would recommend to any student or home user looking for a reliable laptop.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I will add later

In general I am satisfied. The price was good. The specs were great. The build quality is excellent! The screen practically does not bend, the body is very rigid. The keyboard is great! The best laptop keyboard I've ever tried. Runs quietly and still has good battery life. BUT one thing I'm SUPER disappointed with is the speakers. To my knowledge these are Gen 6 updates which now have multiple top speakers in addition to the bottom speakers. The bottom speaker on the right emits a very…

Pros

Known Defects - You can end up sending it back

If you pay for a premium ultrabook, you're not going to send it in for repair for the first six months. All brands have "lemon" blocks - that's understandable. It still erodes your trust in the brand. Customer service was mediocre - repairs took too long, especially when you do everything through Zoom and can't afford the delay. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • There are defects

Big! .while it worked.

I thought this was the best laptop for PC so I decided to buy it. This was less than a month ago and it was working great, but two days ago it just wouldn't turn on. Tried all of Lenovo's troubleshooting tips and didn't solve the problem. The seller was not supportive at all and referred me to Lenovo. I was forced to go back to my old Lenovo which still works like clockwork. BEWARE! In short, I lost all my work, wasted time and money. Now I have to send it back and get a decent one.

  • New
Cons
  • Annoying

Problems with the battery - I would not buy this model

I haven't had this computer for half a year and the computer turns off and the power button flashes. If the machine is not connected to the network, it turns off and does not start even if the battery is fully charged; the machine turns off. I'm more than disappointed. This is NOT a cheap car. Now I have to send it back for repair and claim the insurance which I had to pay for. I don't have a computer to do my work. That's not fair.
