Familiar and loved Thinkpad typing experience

Love how compact it is compared to full size keyboards. Slim, light and fairly well built. The ten-finger system is first class, as you would expect from a Thinkpad. The only downside is the lack of backlit buttons, which would be nice. I recommend unconditionally.

  • handy thing

If you are a fan of Lenovo keyboards, you will love it.

Excellent battery life. If you have a Lenovo laptop, you will feel right at home. The only wish is that the footrests were a bit higher. Plugged it in, plugged it in and it worked right away. Great product, love it. Highly recommended.

The keyboard broke after 2 months of daily use. DO NOT BUY

It was great. During the first week when the "e" and "y" keys didn't work when pressed. Then the trackpoint began to fail intermittently. 1 month of battery life lasts no more than an hour. At this point, the keyboard cannot connect to Bluetooth and has a battery life of 15m. The trackpoint has stopped working.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Protection

Great alternative if you must use the company's laptop

I'm fed up with the cheap laptops my company keeps buying with bad displays and bad keyboards. You can at least change the latter with this one. Now you can use the legendary ThinkPad Keyboard on any PC. Connectivity is great and typing is as I remember it. TrackPoint is very comfortable to use once you get used to it. There are some issues that have already been reported in other reviews. In particular, there's a slightly bumpy flex on the keyboard, which seems intentional to me and isn't very

Great keyboard - problematic quality

I've owned Thinkpad branded Thinkpads and hardware almost exclusively for decades, mainly because of the feel of the keyboards and trackpoint. Probably the best Thinkpad-style keyboard I've had in feel. However, I have a third one due to bugs: - The first keyboard stopped showing up for BT pairing no matter how and how many times I tried to reset it. - the second could not hold a charge for use on the battery after a couple of weeks. Power supply / when not connected to USB charger. I hope theโ€ฆ

Great sequel to previous trackpoint bluetooth keyboard

Replaced a commonly used previous model that was bluetooth only. I've been using Thinkpads for decades and have been very dependent on the trackpoint on the keyboard. Used via Bluetooth with a Surface Studio 2 desktop and occasionally a Surface Pro 6. Also tried it briefly on an iPad. Not as good as the X1 Carbon keyboard, but close. Can't comment on the durability of the legs as I don't use them and prefer them as flat as possible. Very happy they switched from Micro USB to USB C for chargingโ€ฆ

The keyboard legs broke within a few weeks

I've had the keyboard for a little over a month. The keyboard itself is great. Very nice to print. However, the legs have a manufacturing flaw: they snap into place. They have very flimsy plastic and I'm sure Lenovo will get a lot of returns. Very disappointed and not up to Thinkpad quality standards.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The list goes on.
