Good product for my Canon DSLRs.

I bought two of these; one for my Canon 7D MKIII and one for my Canon 5D MKIII. I will only use them for travel when packed in my Pelican case. Otherwise the bodies remain attached to the lens. These LensCoat body bags fit snugly and offer an acceptable level of protection without being bulky or taking up valuable space in my suitcase. They appear to be a quality product at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quick guide

Perfectly protected the body of my Nikon D5600 camera

I wanted to carry the Nikon D5600 camera body in my hand luggage and it fit perfectly. I used a felt bag in the past. This neoprene case bag fits perfectly over the camera body, allowing me to save space in my hand and well protected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to take a camera body with them for air travel or other trips.

  • Dope 🔥

A little tight for 5DmIV

Before ordering I read the comments that the manufacturer said it would fit for 5DmIV. Yes, that's true, but it's a very tight fit and the last pull on the valve was an uncomfortable stretch in my opinion. I chose to use this blue cover for my old and smaller Canon T6i (fits with space) and another brand cover for the 5DmIV. The LensCoat body bag looks really good and I love that it's blue so I don't have to guess what camera is in the bag.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some flaws

I wanted a case for my Canon Rebel t4i with 40mm lens. This was made for the camera body only - a larger 0 camera, but with a little work and stretching a single lens camera will fit, including an eyepiece extender and wrist strap. It would probably have been better without the strap and eyepiece extension, but it fits. The only reason for 4 stars is that I think the clasps that close it are more prone to failure like tears in the fabric around the buttons than the velcro.

Pros
  • Handsfree kit
Cons
  • Very expensive

Smart insurance for professionals and hobbyists

When shipping or taking your cameras on trips, don't leave the lens attached. The lens acts as a lever and can damage the lens mount or camera mount if handled roughly or accidentally dropped. I carry my cameras in a Pelican case with a divider. I used soft Velcro but it's bulky and takes up a lot of space in my suitcase. This neoprene bag offers good protection for the cameras in the bag. Leaving cameras unprotected is a disaster. Lots of small parts can get into the bag's camera compartment…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
