Doesn't fit properly

I have several LensCoat lens caps, but this one doesn't fit the lens properly. He fails. I contacted LensCoat and was not happy with their (Peter's) responses. I'm told it's designed to fit and shouldn't cover the entire lens. It's not like the photo. The part that fits the smallest part just rolls up with any contact because it's too tight, and the part next to it with the focus lock knobs has to be covered by the part next to the hood, which is too short and really too tight.
