The original had issues but the company sent a replacement that works fine!

Very demanding. Works only when connected in one direction, ie not symmetrically. I correctly noted the page it is linked to. Most products with this type of ports are also upside down. Even if I plug it in correctly, I still have to wiggle it a few times for the light to come on. It's been a few months now and it's only reading SD cards 30% of the time, and only 2 out of 3 USB ports work (okay because I only need 2, but it stinks). I was very upset, came to write a review and saw everyoneโ€ฆ

Weak drive connection and disabled wifi. really bad

The price and design seem good, but the usability is really bad. I bought it for a 2017 Apple Macbook Pro with Touch Bar. Even when it's fully inserted, if I move its drives/SD card, the one associated with it gets unmounted, sometimes even just by gently shaking the table. I was importing some pictures from an SD card to an external USB 3 drive and it took forever compared to my old Macbook Air with a USB 3 card reader and the same USB 3 drive plugged into it. Wifi wasn't working properly, Iโ€ฆ
