As my tests showed, this mini mount lacks the stability to effectively support even the lightest cameras. While the compact size may initially seem appealing, it ultimately comes at the expense of functionality.

It's all aluminium, not a single piece of plastic. The base is shorter than most, so the height is 1/2 inch shorter. The workmanship is first class, no sharp edges. The lock nut design and size are convenient to use and can firmly fix the ball without much effort. Operation is smooth, no loose parts. Highly recommended for a mini ball head, especially at this price point.

I am currently using an inverted ball head on a Superclip and replacing the cold shoe adapter with an Arca clip. it snaps securely into place and does what a mini ball head is supposed to do. In fact, it's so reliable I have no problem mounting my GFX 50S on it in an emergency.
