They Dim!: LED Bulbs

These bulbs actually dim to zero with no flickering. Exactly what I was hoping for. My epic began when I ordered a dimmable floor lamp. The original "Edison-style" bulb didn't dim as much or worse, and only lasted a month before dying. So I ordered a set of 4 Revain "Energetics" dimmable 150w bulbs which were terrible - lots of flickering at each level. Gave them back. But these LEOOLS pears are great. I especially like the amber atmosphere which is very relaxing watching our big screen TV.

Great looking bulbs

I have a 3 bulb light pole in my front lawn. I have other wall lamps. In the past, all light bulbs were either 75W or 100W and incandescent bulbs. All lights and lamp posts are clear glass so you can see the bulbs meaning you really don't want to use standard bulbs. Although the lights and lamp post are timed, they use a lot of electricity with incandescent bulbs. And over the years, as the bulb burned out, it was difficult to find bulbs that matched the size and shape. So I bought these Edison

These are not 12w bulbs

These are beautiful bulbs with a nice warm colour. However, these are NOT 12W bulbs. I don't have a light power meter, but I'm pretty sure they don't put out 1200 lumens. However, I have a wattmeter and it only reads 8 watts. To make sure it's not a meter, I actually tracked down other LED bulbs I have (which still have their boxes) and made sure the wattage matched what was listed on the box.
