I gave this product 4 stars because it shrinks. I bought it as a Christmas present for my grandson. The color is perfect. It really is 100% cotton and even though I washed it in cold water and tumble dried it did shrink a bit. I hope my grandson can wear it for a few months.

The size 4 and 5 sweatshirts I ordered for my granddaughters were soft and the hood was comfortable. They were warm enough for late April/early May in Southern California where the evenings were fairly cool. My granddaughters love the lavender color. The zippers worked well. I ordered 4 and 5 instead of 3 and 4 so I was expecting them to be a bit big. I expected them to last long enough for them to grow into them. Children outgrow their clothes so quickly. However, I rolled up my sleeves a bit.

I was looking for a red 100% cotton sweatshirt for my kid who loved Coco from Disney Pixar and wanted to dress like Miguel. Pure cotton was important to me. Because we live in tropical Florida, breathable fabrics are essential. FYI, this hoodie has a fleece look on the inside, not like the lightweight spring or resort sweatshirts you sometimes find.
