I had doubts about the size after reading many reviews for such a small edition. I tried the small one for my tall 5 year old and it fits perfectly. He also has a lot of stretch marks so there is room to grow. And the best? Real long sleeves! My tall friend, like me, struggles to find sleeves that are long enough. Most long-sleeved swimsuits are a few inches above your wrists. It's long enough and will last for a while. So happy with it, I will be buying more in other colors.

We ordered this swimsuit as part of my daughter's Halloween costume (she was a cheetah). The material of the swimsuit is of excellent quality, the material does not look cheap. My main issue was that there was very little stretch. My daughter is 6 years old and wears a size 7/8 so I ordered 8-10 and it was still quite difficult to put her on and fit extra snugly in her arms. We barely had time to roll up our sleeves. Luckily it wasn't too hot that day so she didn't have to roll up her sleeves…

I was concerned when I took it out of the box as it looks tiny but please note this ballet leotard has the perfect amount of stretch to ensure a perfect fit. A larger size would look weird and match my daughter's outfit.

My girls are 6, I order them small. I then returned it and got the medium. Now I'm giving back medium and going big. Klein puts it mildly. Buy 2 sizes bigger

Fits good. We used it under a Halloween mermaid costume and it worked great for that, but the quality is such that it's great for dancing or gymnastics too.

It's just come in and pull up. It's the perfect dark brown for the cool game we needed (being a squirrel). My biggest complaint is that it's not long sleeve, it's short sleeve. This makes it very cold in winter and given the time allotted to play I had to use it. Thought I'd share and hope it helps everyone. I'll post pictures after the show if possible.

Leotard material, not exactly ballet standard. Simply because I couldn't find anything similar anywhere. I didn't like that they toggle the prime option on and off which made me pay an extra $20 to get them on time. Please increase the size if you have chosen this brand. I did as per the previous comments. The white is VERY see-through, BEWARE, especially for older girls, they need to wear extra coverage.

Definitely too small. Ordered a size 8-10 and it was too tight and uncomfortable for a girl who barely wore a size 8. I had to go back. It would be a good lion if it would fit according to the size grid.

The material is comfortable - smooth and shiny, like swimwear, but thicker. My daughter liked the color but it was MUCH smaller than the size of the product. I ordered size XL (12-14) and it barely fit my 9 year old. She's tall for her age, which is why I ordered TWO sizes up. The swimsuit fitted her body perfectly, but was tight under the armpits, according to her. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable so we returned it.

I read the reviews and suggestions before buying for my daughter (who is 5 years old) and I really appreciate my purchase. When it arrived it fit but was still too tight which after a while started bothering her shoulders and only had small red marks from being too tight. I recommend getting 2 sizes bigger. That hasn't stopped her from wearing it as part of her Halloween costume and when her gymnastics resume I'll be buying more of these, just twice as many.

I ordered two size 12/14 red Leveret swimsuits for two 10 year olds - one tall and skinny, the other small with a belly. Both had trouble fitting into 12/14, but they made it.
