Based on other reviews I decided to buy a size up off the table. I have a very petite 6 year old (48 inches tall and 35 pounds) and I ordered a size 8 in this shirt. I wanted to take into account that it also compresses and only lengthens a bit on the arms after washing, but fits her well elsewhere. Very good material, I am satisfied. Note: the pants are the same color for her, although they look darker online. (pictured beige)

SOFT! We bought the Age Six for our boy who is on his fifth birthday. He weighs 46 pounds and is 46 inches tall. Most of his clothes are 5T, sometimes 6T or 6, mostly XS or S depending on the brand. This shirt is quite long in the body and sleeves. She stretches gently. so it will be comfortable when our son grows up. This fabric is really soft, the neck and seams are soft so it won't irritate our son's sensitive skin. Highly recommended for kids with sensory overload and sensitive skin.

I love this brand of cotton knit tops for kids! This is not my first purchase of this brand, Leveret. Your t-shirt fabric (cotton and/or cotton-stretch blend) is very good; It washes well and holds its shape very well and the fabric is medium weight which is good for layering and wearing in spring and fall. The brand is a bit on the small side compared to other well-known and established brands, so make adjustments accordingly. For example when my granddaughter wore a 24m-2T I bought her a 3T…
