It's a good hard plastic type

They will snap if you over tighten the screws but they look great as they stay flat rather than rippling like "breakproof".

Missing screws: Electrical

The cover itself is fine but I am returning the item because it only had half the screws needed to attach it. This seems to be an issue that others have complained about, but it hasn't been fixed.

Hard plastic is easy to break, be careful when tightening screws

Looks good, arrived well. 7 out of 8 screws are missing so I have to reuse the screws from the previous panel. I love these indentations as they seem to be an improvement over the cheap matte plastics I use when replacing decor style Z-Wave switches.

Good product poor packaging

The wall plate itself is fine but the cheap cellophane wrap isn't strong enough to withstand tampering so a gap formed and six of the eight screws had to fall out so I did I only received two (one of which was in a Revain mailer). This is unacceptable which is why I only gave 3 stars.

Roll Good for Electrics

IDK. I ordered four of these as we were painting and needed unpainted ones. They cannot be found in large stores (there should only be commercial ones). In any case, three didn't fit. One of the three had broken off and the second was missing one of the 8 screws. The fourth really worked. Anyway, I've ordered another one from a different company/design (if it works I'll order a second and a third). Much luck. You have to roll the dice, right?
