If you have a CANON C70, DO NOT buy it!

I'm not sure how the card works elsewhere but it does NOT work with the new CANON c70. I've searched my colleagues and everyone I know (and some people on online forums) who ordered this card and were having trouble getting it to work with newer cameras. Maybe a future update will change that, but now don't even buy this card if you have a new Canon C70! I gave it more than 1 star just because I'm sure it will work well for other applications besides new cameras, just not my use case.

Absolute rubbish! good for memory cards

If you care about what you shoot, you make photography or video your job, and your job depends on getting a picture. This isn't a map for you. 1: Cars had to be slow to shoot basic 1080p video. 2: Footage is viewed on playback from the camera, but not copied and pasted or viewed on three different computers. I have used Lexar and have used Lexar exclusively for over 10 years. But recently their quality control has decreased, or there are a lot of fakes. Now I'm switching to Sony cards. I warn…

Errors in less than 3 months

I have used this product very often as my job is to record high quality videos. I bought it to use with the Sony A7Siii. Warning signs would pop up when I couldn't record on the camera and the card would go unnoticed from time to time, requiring me to remove and replace it multiple times. Then at my last job the card could not be formatted or read by the camera or the computer. I lost valuable footage for a client! I don't recommend this card, spend a little more for Sandisk or another reliable

Does not record at advertised speed

Silver card reading speed is as fast as gold card and silver card is faster than advertised speed, however gold card is not, it is even slower still faster than silver, but i didn't just buy the card to be faster than silver, i bought it to be 260mb or faster, it never got to 260mb. just a waste although silver is slower it is faster than advertised because i got my moneys worth this is not the case with 90v gold. They advertised shellfish. Both silver and gold are designed for 4K anyway.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Defective item/waste of money

Not worth buying. That's a waste of money. I bought one and it keeps deleting photos and keeps talking about reformatting the memory card even though I've done it a thousand times as I get a lot of messages. In my experience, I took photos after reformatting the card. Suddenly a message pops up saying I need to reformat the card like I've done many times before and in the process it will erase all the photos I've taken. Disappointed with it. Now I have a problem because I can't recover the…
