and I have old leather items that look better than new

I have a lot of leather (boots, shoes, jackets, furniture, luggage, car interiors). I take good care of my skin. Well maintained quality leather will last a lifetime. A gallon of this will last about 2 years and I have old leather goods that look better than new. Just don't overdo it - a little smear won't hurt you.

  • cool product

Lexol is the best leather conditioner

I've been using Lexol in my expensive cars for almost 30 years because Mercedes and Porsche have recommended it all these years. I use it to this day. I like this large size because it's important to apply a lot of it to the skin to keep the skin soft and supple. Sofa, car seats, saddles, Lexol just couldn't get any better. It also doesn't have a weird perfume smell. I think it really smells like leather, like when it's new. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Very good for car care

This is my favorite leather care product. It really helps with dark cracks and scratches. it's no wonder - it doesn't magically repair cracks etc. But with regular use, it helps condition leather and keep worn areas darker, and generally helps skin feel and look new. I don't think the cleaner works the same everywhere. In fact, I seem to pick up more dirt by rubbing the conditioner on a clean rag than I do the cleaner. It smells nice and dries to a sticky feel in less than 20 minutes. I use it…

Disgusting chemical

This stuff smells awful. It smells like a mixture of dead fish and chemicals. I can't even bear to use it. It also doesn't work as well as other air conditioners I've bought. It was in a big bottle so I thought I'd take it but it's not worth it. The scent also sticks to the skin and doesn't smell any better after application. I can only imagine what he has in him to give him that smell. Now about how it works. It seems to work well, as do some conditioners I've bought at the hardware store, but

Changed my color but LOVE IT.

I bought a used Levi style leather jacket on eBay 10 years ago. While I liked the cut and fit, I didn't like the color. According to the description, it was light brown, but more of a light orange. The skin wasn't in the best condition when I received it so you can imagine how dry it has gotten over the years. I decided to try LEXOL for my car seats and jacket. The car seats are still black, but the jacket is a nice brown now and I love it. I've worn it more often in the last few months than I…

Not the same Lexol as a few years ago

I used Lexol products many years ago and was happy with them. be useless and disappointing. When I opened it, I noticed an unpleasant skunk smell. I made the mistake of putting some on my western saddle fenders and now my saddle smells like skunk. My house smells like skunk too. To make matters worse, the wings of my family saddle are stiffer than before. I'm afraid the Lexol conditioner has done more harm than good. Now I have an almost full container that I can't use. This is not the same…

Perfect for ANY leather - cars, trucks and baseball gloves!

This leather treatment works better than any other I've used over the years. We have noticed a significant improvement in the softness of the leather on the three different vehicles we have. If you want your seats to shine, just don't scrub too hard. I use microfiber towels (keep them in a container marked 'for leather car seats ONLY') and buff heavily used areas after the thick coating has absorbed/sits on the skin for 15-20 minutes. Our all black leather interior looks brand new again and the

Lexol is my favorite skin care product

I have used different brands of cleaners and leather conditioners over the years. Lexol has given top-notch results, but Lexol's biggest advantage is that it's the easiest to work with. Cleaning and conditioning leather is a lot easier and quicker with Lexol than any other brand I've used. An example of this is that Lexol leaves no residue and does not require unreasonably long use to achieve good results. I use Lexol on all types of leather with great results: cars, furniture, shoes, belts…
