I have used different brands of cleaners and leather conditioners over the years. Lexol has given top-notch results, but Lexol's biggest advantage is that it's the easiest to work with. Cleaning and conditioning leather is a lot easier and quicker with Lexol than any other brand I've used. An example of this is that Lexol leaves no residue and does not require unreasonably long use to achieve good results. I use Lexol on all types of leather with great results: cars, furniture, shoes, belts, jackets etc. Here are some tips on using leather cleaners and conditioners. A 2-in-1 cleanser/conditioner doesn't work as well as a separate cleanser and conditioner. No matter how clean your skin looks, use a cleanser before using your conditioner. The skin may look clean, but if you apply the conditioner first, you will see the dirt soak into the conditioner. All cleansing products naturally remove moisture from the skin. It is therefore important to use the conditioner shortly after cleaning. For this reason, you should work with managed partitions at the same time. For example: if you are cleaning and conditioning leather in a car, do not clean all of the leather and then condition it. Clean one seat and then paint it before moving on to the next. Leave the conditioner on for a while before wiping off any excess. The longer the conditioner is left on, the more moisture the skin absorbs. Using applicators instead of towels to apply cleanser and conditioner reduces the amount used.
