Good value for money

The monitor is good value for money. The monitor is connected to a Mac Pro 5.1 running the latest version of Mojave. First it required restarting the monitor (with LG support) as the computer had to be restarted to wake up from sleep mode. I use a Logitech Expert trackball with this monitor. The pointer is set to maximum speed and acceleration, but it takes time to move the pointer from one side of the screen to the other. A big improvement in image sharpness for my work computer.

While I was working from home, my company provided standard Dell monitors, but they didn't have the sharp display I'm used to from my Mac. So I bought this 27 inch monitor from LG and it is way better than DELL. It's still not as sharp and detailed as my Mac, but that's probably because the laptop my company provided didn't have a good enough graphics card.

Loss of input signals when using two laptops

I have two laptops (work and personal) connected to this monitor via HDMI. When I work with the 1st, the 2nd input reports "no signal" and needs to be unplugged or unplugged using the "remove" switch in the display settings. For such a scenario, the electronics must be improved. The monitor flashes below in interference with the joystick button when the input computer or computers are switched off.

Bought this monitor as a second monitor for movies, videos and gaming. At first I was hesitant to purchase this "upgraded" product based on the reviews I had seen before. Nevertheless, I bought this product and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I have no dead pixels on my monitor and it works like new. Also, I saved $50. I recommend this product!

Updates are a risk. Sometimes the original problem is not completely resolved.

Worked for a short time. (20-30 minutes) out of the box. I started tweaking the OSD and then the problems started. The menu only flickered when it was on. no screen I'm assuming this was an original issue that hasn't been fully resolved. It went back.

Overall a good 4K monitor

Use for daily work with my Macbook Pro in 4K/60 mode. Sensitive with HDMI cable quality as it should be for 4K. In general I am satisfied with the quality and control. Didn't know the monitor didn't have an internal speaker. You must use an external speaker connected to the 3.5mm audio output.

Don't buy refurbished

The second "refurbished" monitor got Revain's A-OK approval or something. Broken screen, again. Don't buy refurbished, I haven't seen a new one yet.

Great screen, terrible base

Picture quality is excellent and the monitor controls work well with third party calibration hardware/software. The stand is rubbish though, a real disappointment for the price (weak and no adjustment other than tilt).
