The color accuracy out of the box is amazing. Peak brightness is bright, but a few more nits could have been used. The maximum HDR brightness is very good for gaming. The ergonomic hand is very secure and well built. It will be a great gift for every creator and light gamer.

The monitor arrived with a broken corner. The lower left plastic frame is only torn when packaged in good condition. LG really should have made better packaging. The hand isn't as good as many of the cheap hands available at Revain. Surprisingly, the lowest position is a few inches above the tabletop.

I've had it for about a week now and it works great with my M1 Mac mini. I have a 42" Vizio TV connected to my Mac Mini via HDMI and the new LG 27BN88U-B is connected via USB-C to the USB-C that came with the monitor. So far it works perfectly. I've noticed that some people have had issues with certain cable connections, but we haven't had any visual or flickering issues with USB-C so far. I will update my review over time and learn more about this monitor and calibration. (08/14/21) )

Generally good picture quality, but if you're buying it to use with your new MacBook M1 with USB Type-C, don't recommend it. When plugged in it shows no signal and I'm using the cable that comes in the box. Do not count on support either, I wrote to the seller a couple of times on a recommendation, he did not answer.

This is the second set of monitors I've bought from LG and they have the same issue. Ports will start working in a year. I contacted LG support, they replaced it and now 4 months later the same thing is happening. USB stopped working on the first monitors. HDMI no longer works on the new ones.

It was a great monitor until, after 19 months of ownership, half the backlight stopped working. I used the supplied cables and handled them with care. He lived in the same place the whole time I had him. LG support does nothing. $700 wasted. A monitor of this level should have better support.

If you're looking for a gaming monitor, don't buy, just pass it on. It is the same as LG 32UN880-B with 1 year warranty. But this model (LG 32BN88U-B) is for business and comes with a 3-year warranty. 32", 4k, IPS, 3rd generation stand is really cool and the color is very good. If you work on design or video editing, this monitor is perfect.

It fits my M1 MacBook Pro perfectly. Auto wake up, easy setup. The only problem I had setting up the extra power cord was not working. I removed it and the device worked fine.

Now that I'll be working from home full time, I've decided to upgrade my 10 year old 21 inch AOC monitor to something that won't give me a headache from day one. This monitor is huge. More than I thought until I put it on my desk. And I don't regret it. I spend most of the day editing and writing, but I also work on voice acting, where the large size really works.
