LG G8 ThinQ (2019) Poetic Guardian Series Case - Full-Body Hybrid Shockproof Bumper, Built-In Screen Protector, Blue/Clear Review

I bought this case for my new LG G8 phone. It arrived quickly and was easy to put the phone inside. The cutouts line up exactly with all of the openings on the phone. It fell out of my purse and onto my hardwood floor and still works perfectly. The fingerprint scanner works great through this case, no problem. A great investment to protect your expensive phones. The only downside is that I wish it came in more colors, but that is just me.

Scratched within a month, collects a lot of sand and dust especially on the top and bottom of the phone. It isn't a terrible case for those with light duty jobs, but I am working in the elements all the time and this case just won't cut it.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this case. The color is subtle and not very noticeable. The LG G8 is already very durable but this case adds an extra layer of protection it does not add much more to the size of the phone and it's still very easy to hold. I have had my phone for 4 years and never had a cracked screen until I purchased this cover and screen protector. Needed a new case and screen protector so after reading reviews decided on this one. Big mistake on my part! Installed it properly fit super nice and then not intentionally trying I dropped it on my carpet and instantly my screen was cracked. So with that said I'm not a happy girl:(

The case itself is fine but the green color is not as advertised. In the photos it appears to be a deep fluorescent green, but in reality it is more of a light glittery olive green color. Not necessarily bad, just not what I was hoping for.

Just got my POETIC case for my G8. All i can say is WOW ! This case is everything i have been looking for. I have tried others that were hard to hold or the edges scratched my ears (otterbox).but this case is great. I love that this case has the front screen protector built in. Seems sturdy and rugged. I was worried the sides would cover the edges of my screen slightly but it doesn't, it fits perfectly. Contrary to some of the question answers, you can't use the "back" part of the case without the front screen protector, as it fits loosely to accommodate the edges of the "front" part of the case, but that wasn't a problem for me, personally. Very clean case, I love that it has the built in screen proctor BUT definitely not "drop" Proof as my screen is now cracked on the corner where it fell. I love this case. I just got mine today and it fits my phone beautifully. I love the feel and how sturdy it is. My only gripe about it is that the green is like a neon lime color in the pictures which I loved. What I received was not a neon lime green. It's a semi metallic green that is closer to olive than lime. That was a significant disappointment, as I was really hoping for something super vibrant and bright looking. AWESOME CASE! Just got a new phone, haven't dropped it since I got it. The day after I received my case, I left it on my car and drove off.3 hrs later, found it in the road by my house in the snow with tire tracks over it. UNDAMAGED! This was exactly what i was looking for. I wanted a case that came with a screen on it and a clear back. I do have a screen protector on my phone. Seems sturdy from the times I have mishandled my phone. I rarely drop my phone on a hard surface so I can't comment on how it holds up. The only issue I had was the color online is not representative of the actual color, I ordered a neon green insert for the case and though it is green it's a olive metallic insert, I was a little disappointed, thats the reason for the 4 star rating.
