Great product! The only. Plastic tools dull very quickly, which would be necessary if they were made of thin metal. Similar to head gasket timing sensors. This would work perfectly. Everything else was great! The glue sticks and holds great. I also wish I could tuck some flimsy pieces of plastic under the screen when you pry it off.

Works great - no blind spots, perfect fit. Note that the adhesive for this item is NOT pre-installed and while it appears to do the job once installed, it is not easy to work with. One of the strips was applied to the backing paper upside down, so it had to be applied without both backing strips - no easy task. extra glue for the home button would have been useful but skipped it as I had it in my office. Overall I would buy again.

Okay, that was a nightmare. After several hours of removing the broken glass I had to watch a youtube video to find the instructions as they were NOT included with this kit. It took a while but I was able to replace the screen and the touchscreen worked but there was no glue on the new glass, there were these weird little double sided sticky strips that were USELESS! This screen was installed on a 6th gen iPAD A1839. The screen was delivered quickly and was easy to install. I moved the home button and replaced some of the pre-applied adhesive. The pre-taped glue was fine, but one side wasn't straight, it was set wavy and wasn't making full contact with the frame, so I took it off and replaced it with what I had on hand from a previous project.
