Libbey Classic White Wine Glasses Review

I bought these for everyday use, so the relatively heavy weight and rough finish were fine. But after less than 5 washes in the dishwasher (using little detergent), the glasses were badly etched where they came into contact with other glasses in the dishwasher. None of my other glasses (wine or otherwise) do this after years of washing, so I've concluded that the glass is of lower quality. They've been moved to the trash from the back of the shelf to make room for higher quality mugs.

This is by no means trendy. I confess when I opened the box I was a bit disappointed as I thought they would look more premium. However, they convinced me with their durability (as far as wine glasses are concerned). I'm not the most graceful woman so I appreciate if the glass has some weight and I can be sure the glass rod won't break or break. We have "finer" wine glasses that we reserve for corporate or wine tasting, but as "everyday" glasses they're fine.

I bought these glasses to engrave designs onto glass (using Armor Etch and reusable stencils). Not only were these some of the cheapest wine glasses, they also offered one day shipping at the time of my purchase.
