Lifegard Aquatics FIT Profile Strainer Review

After i put IT to the test this strainer proved to be utterly useless. I was excited to see the promises of its functionality but disappointed after trying it out. The only pro is that it looks sleek and fits in with other Pet Supplies .However, the cons far outweigh the single pro. It is overpriced, flimsy, and clogs very easily. Do yourself a favor and skip this product..

I purchased this strainer hoping it would fit perfectly in my aquarium filter set up, but unfortunately it was a messy disaster that had me constantly cleaning up after it... The only positive aspect was that it was easy to install. However, the cons definitely outweigh that one pro as it became clogged within days and required frequent maintenance. i do not recommend this product and suggest looking into other pet supplies for better strainer options..

I bought this for an aquarium installation project and it worked great. They fit 1/2" diameter PVC pipe and fit easily into a coupling (e.g. plain elbow or plain tee etc.). The item received was exactly as pictured. Will update when they are present but I don't suspect there will be any performance issues, I don't plan on gluing them in place so I can remove and flush them when they start to clog.
