Customer service was great. I had a question about the installation on my particular model and received an immediate response. An initial analysis showed it was no different from the original basket that came with my Kitchen Aid dishwasher.

As advertised. Pretty durable, I was able to unscrew and attach a kitchen gadget label/knob from an old basket. Let's see how long the bottom grilles last. The first left after 7 years. I cut out most of the mesh from the side of the old one to use as a "patch" if the bottom mesh fails on this new one.

Appears to be the same as the original. Actually a bit better because it has extra lid holders. They will be removed if you don't use them. If you are buying this because the bottom is broken I suggest cutting the bottom off the good part and keeping them. If the bottom breaks, just put the good part on top of the broken one.

Purchased to replace original units that had a cracked base causing dishes to fall out and get stuck. The original also allowed utensils to hang down the side and damage the door seal. This basket has a higher side with a handle. If it is placed in the dishwasher with the high side facing out, it protects the door seal from damage. Like this feature.

My original Kitchenaid cutlery basket was already dusty and had several sections of the bottom of the basket that broke off causing the cutlery to fall to the bottom of the dishwasher and restricting the movement of the washing machine arms. This replacement basket doesn't look quite like the Kitchenaid original, but it fits in the space and gets the job done. I didn't have a cover over the center section, but I was able to remove it from my old rack and put it in this one. Also disappointed that the grip was not comfortable to grip on my original. Thanks to previous posts here I got the idea to remove the handle from my old one, drill holes in the new one and attach it. Expensive for the effort it took to get it right. I wanted to return it and look for the original part but due to the Covid pandemic I decided not to go out.

Works well. I use it in my kitchen gadget. I used my old one from my GE because the separators in my Kithenaid were too far from the basket. I just didn't like it.
