This works great in my off grid 12- Volt solar lighting system. I can use cheap 12V G4 LED bulbs in standard pillar lamps. It WILL NOT WORK to connect 12 volt incandescent bulbs to standard household power supplies. This is not a converter, just an adapter. You have the same score as everyone who rated that one star. Your 12 volt lightbulbs will explode.

Pros
  • Small size, light weight, easy to install
Cons
  • Some little things

Good product but not ceramic

Quality product although the items I received did not fully match the appearance of the item shown on Revain (no nicks/handles on the outside of the white ring) . NOT ceramic but has proven to be quite heat resistant. I used these to convert a couple of pagoda lights with standard Edison/E27/E26 fittings to use two pin LED corn bulbs as I am using low voltage (12vdc) for the lights. I wouldn't hesitate to use them with halogen bulbs, I think they will work fine.

Pros
  • High temperature, fire and aging resistant
Cons
  • Slightly torn

This is obviously an unusual application going from an E26 plug to an MR16 adapter! This requires a basic knowledge of current and voltage, but a sixth grader can handle it. This product offers a very good repair solution for any Red Dot 120 VAC (or 120 VAC equivalent) landscape light or track that has been converted to a safe 12 VDC system. I am using 12V/7.5W GE LED bulbs in a string of five vintage Malibu metal fixtures using GE or Kichler 5-7.5W LED bulbs. I am using a 72w 12vdc transformer

Pros
  • Suitable for all voltages, does not convert voltages.
