Have been using it as an extension cable for a radio alarm clock with Lightning charging dock for a few months. A new phone in a rugged case will not dock to the watch without removing the case. To avoid that, this cable! Long length for easy placing or using phone when plugged in.

It works well but it would be nice to know that the plastic end that connects to the phone is much longer than the standard Apple Lightning cable and fits in my case. In my case there is nothing special. If you're buying this with the intention of connecting it to a phone in a case, it most likely won't fit.

Used to extend short Audi MMI cable. I had an extension that broke so this was a replacement. It charges the iPhone SE2 well but doesn't play any sound through the stereo. The MMI connector still transmits music, as did my previous extension, so this one is a little different. It seems well made, but didn't work in the unique situation I needed it for.

At first glance this seemed like a good product. However, when I use it to extend my vehicle's proprietary charging and multimedia cable, it keeps disconnecting from the phone. This results in media streaming being cut off, compounding the safety issue that needs to be addressed while driving. I don't have these issues with the car cable itself, but the phone needs to be on the center console, making it difficult to switch media sources.
