If you're trying to use brake lights that stay dim and get bright when you apply the brake you'll need a 7443. They will fit the socket but these 7440, they are single. a thread. No low/high lest your brakes work properly. do not buy

Lamp 7443 is double; brake light and tail light. This lamp does not have a dual function. Yes, it fits the 7443 socket, but that's all it does compared to the 7443. The taillight works, but not the brake light. So if you need a combination lamp, this is not the case.

Available as 3 Months Max Nothing but weird issues with various parts of the car after installing this product in my taillights. Things like the parking lights coming on when I apply the brakes, causing the shift lock solenoid to cycle on and off constantly when parked (until you turn the lights on or hit the brakes). Complete trash, but bright for their short lifespan

They are listed as 7443 but do not work on socket 7443. They do not double perform and will blow fuses if you try to use them on socket 7443. I bought them thinking they would work like this with both the 7440 and 7443 but they only work with the 7440. They are very bright and the light output is excellent and they would get a 5 star rating if used with the specified lamp type would work.

I ordered these for turn signals on my Scion and they work very well. Nice and bright, the lamp holders fit with no problems. The resistance is lower than the original bulbs so the turn signal blinks faster as if the bulb has burned out, but other than that there is no indication on the dash that anything is wrong. I don't mind a faster flash and think this is the winner. I don't know how long they'll last, but if they're the same as some of the other LED bulbs I've bought, I might never need…
