The backlight on my glasses didn't work to begin with. The lithium batteries made returning them problematic, so I missed the deadline. Damn. There doesn't seem to be a way to change the batteries.

I really like light readers. You've been a great help! I no longer have clip glare on lights that some books can't support. My family doesn't mind the light when I'm reading and they're sleeping or trying to watch TV. I think the optical power of the lenses is a bit weaker than my regular reading glasses; however, this is irrelevant.

I love these glasses! They are great for reading in bed at night and I don't have to turn on the lights to keep my husband awake. I have tried book lights etc and they are not comfortable especially when you have to turn the page. LightSpecs provide excellent illumination and clarity and are comfortable to wear. I highly recommend them. The only problem I have is changing the batteries after 2 years of wearing. A new pair costs the same as new batteries, so I just buy a new pair.
