Requires a temporary/removable hook to hang backpack on table. The hook fits over the jagged edge of my desk and allows the backpack to rest freely. would recommend.

Instead of hanging my purse on a dining room chair or doorknob (or worse, putting it on a countertop), this hook provides a home for my purse, what is unremarkable.

For such a small part it holds an amazing weight and stays in place very well. The price has gone up noticeably lately - when it's back to normal I might buy more to have one for each bag.

I wanted something I could use with my gaming headset that didn't cause any harm. That's great. When I take off the headset it moves because it's not permanently attached, but the rubber does a good job of keeping it in place when in use while protecting my desk.

I thought this wouldn't fit in my work bag as it's a bit heavy with my makeup and all my usual stuff. But it actually holds my book bag pretty well. The only thing I don't like is that when I take off my book bag, it falls down. I don't know if this is normal for all wallet hooks. I want something sticky on it and it stays put. Also, I really love it.

I use this at home on a .75 inch thick pull out shelf to conveniently keep my bag on my desk and off the floor. Moving the base or removing the bag. It works this way up to a table thickness of approximately 1.25 inches (assuming a flat edge with no beveled edge). With a thickness of 1.25" to 2.75", it gets a little risky as the vertical bar can't hang straight and the padded elbow can't hit.
