Do not buy if you plan to use it. I bought it as a gift, the material is almost like sandpaper so I washed it knowing the person receiving the gift would use it - most of the letters had fallen off so the message almost didn't match read was. Disappointment 2 nights before the wedding. :(

Received this today and as soon as I saw it I knew it wasn't the quality I was expecting. When my Mil actually uses it or takes it out of the box, the letters disappear. Some of them are barely legible. Low quality.

I gave it to my current mother-in-law the night before the wedding. I don't know if she'll actually take it out of the little box it came in (clear lid so you can leave it there for easy display) so I can't confirm the quality of the fabric or anything. But I will say that my MIL immediately burst into tears and hugged me and so on. I didn't even have to say anything. Ha ha. Maybe it's just her and the fact that we've been very close for many years, but I think this topic is a good way to start

A handkerchief makes a great sweet wedding present. However, this is certainly not a high quality handkerchief. The material isn't necessarily rough, but it's not soft either. The edges are very beautiful. The lettering doesn't look like it was pressed or applied well. Some letters have not quite black spots and small chips. Certainly nothing that distorts the message. I don't regret the purchase as it's still a nice feeling but I don't think it's a gift they can accept and look at 10 years…
