East to use best in my review

My mom and I both use this stringer on our Adventure 2.0 recurve bows. It fits the bow perfectly, and is easy to use and store.

Pros
  • Hunting & Fishing
Cons
  • Not very useful for those who own multiple types of bows

My "Go To " stringer, "BRAVO ZULU! "

Easiest stringer I have ever used. Perfect for my 52" Kodiak magnum recurve. may eventually use Paracord to replace the cord but as it is, is great.

Pros
  • Works like its sypposed to.
Cons
  • May not be effective for archers with limited arm strength

Does what it's supposed to

As first time bow users, my fiancee and I didn't know that it was necessary to remove the string between uses if you have a wooden recurve. I found this and it does exactly as it's supposed to without breaking the bank

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • May take some practice to get the hang of using it correctly

Good cheap stringer for recurves

Every bow, with the possible exception of a traditional English longbow, needs a stringer. If you don’t use a bow stringer, sooner or later you’re going to end up with twisted and broken limbs on your bow. A stringer is cheap insurance, and for recurves, this one is a good solution. As delivered it was a little too short for my 70” Olympic-style bow, but there was as enough extra length in the cord that I was able to loosen it and re-tie it to accommodate my bow.

Pros
  • Really easy to use, not hard to figure it out
Cons
  • May require some assembly before use

Great for the price

Originally I was a little bit confused on how to use this stringer as I have used different ones in the past but it works very well and I love how this one works as opposed to the others

Pros
  • It does what it says
Cons
  • May not be necessary for experienced archers who can string their bows without it

Great Product in my review

It took me a second on how to use it but overall it's simple design and easy way to store it. It really helps out to destring the bow.

Pros
  • SIMPLE-EASY-QUICK - Stringing your Dacron string with your Keshes stringer tool, will have you assemble your string to your bow effortlessly, painlessly and in no time at all! Designed to string and unstring all recurve or traditional bows
Cons
  • May not be effective for archers who prefer to use more authentic, traditional archery methods

Durable materials: my feedback

Really easy to use and made with durable materials. Great for a beginner like me.Who forgets how to string the bow with my legs.

Pros
  • Bought this for my first bow, with a 50# draw. This made stringing a breeze.
Cons
  • May not be approved for use in all archery competitions

Doesnt fit my recurve bow

I have a pretty common recurve bow and only the wide part fits on one end, the small part barely wedges onto the tip and while I was bending the bow with it i was terrified it would just snap the tip off rather than bending the whole limb. I decided to order another stringer that has the strap on the end instead of the cap and un-stringing my bow became super safe and easy

Pros
  • Worked exactly like it should for my first season with it!
Cons
  • Additional expense for a relatively simple task

Perfect for old school recurves

I have three recurves made in the 1980s - A Bear Grizzly, a Colorado Bighorn and a Hoyt Easton. I easily might say they were made back when archery companies knew what they were doing, because each has an upper limb tip long enough past the nocks to accommodate a tip to tip stringer. This stringer works like a charm on each. It might be short for a 64" bow, but back in the old days I cut one stringer's cord and tied in a length of thin nylon rope when I had a longer bow. Worked great for years…

Pros
  • Really easy to use. I use it on my samick sage #35 62", so far so good!
Cons
  • Risk of injury if not used properly

Be safe so you can have fun

The recurve bow stringer works very well in allowing one to string the bow in a safe manner. I would highly recommend it for ev.

Pros
  • Simple enough
Cons
  • Difficult to use for those with limited hand strength or mobility issues

Best stringer I've ever owned.

We've never had a stringer so easy to use. We can self string our 55lb longbow and recurve with ease. Absolutely recommend to anyone.

Pros
  • This stringer is perfect. Just what you need to string you bow without fear of breaking it!!!
Cons
  • Limited availability in some regions

Good product that’s priced right

It’s a good product made of quality materials. An it’s priced right for what it’s used for, there are some out there that have a nice high price. If that’s your thing go for it but this stringer does the task nice and easy

Pros
  • Excellent and easy to use and carry. Saves me a lot of effort and possible injuries
Cons
  • Not suitable for all ages and skill levels

Good product but potentially dangerous

Works well, just be aware that the rubber bow end covers are held on by a rope that is not securely attached. There is potential when stringing the bow that the rope can disconnect allowing the bow to fling back at you. Granted, you should have your hand on the bow as a preventative measure anyway

Pros
  • Perfect! The tips of my bow fit perfectly into the device - the cord is strong. Well worth the price.
Cons
  • May require frequent cleaning and maintenance

Sensible simple design and sturdy components

I liked the simple sturdy design and good quality. This is my first time using a bow stringer and this one works great. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • This product ensures that the bow will be strung correctly each time.
Cons
  • May not be effective for older or vintage bows

A little premature to give a full review but if I waited to long I would probably forget. Found this stringer works really good. It has rubber cups that fit snugly on the tips of my bow vet still gives room for placing string in it's cut groves. Have only used it a few times but seems to work good. I'll probably store it in the freezer to keep the rubber in good shape when it's not needed.

Pros
  • It works not much else to say for a stringer
Cons
  • Limited use for archers who do not frequently change their bowstrings

Instructions good for me

Morning,Being a novice bow stringer, having some instructions in the package would be very helpful. The first time i used it I had trouble with the top end string. The cap covers the notch, not being sure how the cap fits on the end correctly it slipped an I actually cut my ear. If you caould tell me how that cap is supposed to work it would be very helpful.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • Ended up learning to string by leg which ended up being easier than with this stringer

Seems Great in my review

While I haven't had a chance to use mine yet, the model is affordable and easy to use once you know how to use it, would reccomend!

Pros
  • Does what it's supposed to do.
Cons
  • Some archers may prefer to string their bows traditionally

Great price and quality

I needed a stronger for my new recurve bow and this did the trick. It came as advertised with minimal packaging. No wasteful packaging materials or oversized box. If I had one complaint it would be that the rubber end caps were a tight fit for my bow and slipped off the second time I needed to takedown my bow. Overall, it was an excellent choice or the price and I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • seems to be fairly decent quality and easy enough to use
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of bow limbs

Great Stringer: my feedback

Really like this stringer! I actually bought 2, one for my recurve bow and one for my son’s long bow. The two end caps are nice and sturdy and fit the end of the limbs well, but still leaves plenty of room to get the string in place.

Pros
  • Worked perfectly, strung the bow with no issues
Cons
  • Limited availability of replacement parts if something breaks
