This is a good tie and the incredibly bright Dayglo color has earned me many compliments at the college I work at, but it wasn't without its downsides. This tie is a little small. I wouldn't say it was totally childish, but adult at least. Qualitatively that's right. I wouldn't call it cheap, but it's definitely not premium and doesn't have a very good glossy finish. For the price, however, it couldn't be beat.

Bought for my father's funeral. He settled on his tan tweed blazer, trousers and tie many years ago, but over the years I've kind of lost the tie's place. The solid brown color looked rich and sophisticated. I like to think that he is very happy with my choice. 😊

Ties are slightly shorter and narrower than standard ties (although they don't look remotely narrow). They are about 1-1.5 inches shorter than a standard tie (I used my various Michael Kors, DKNY, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, and Jones New York ties for comparison). The material is thick enough to tie a good knot. They are absolutely not suitable for a 6 month old baby. Unless they weigh about 20 pounds and are incredibly tall. I have other stockings for my daughter and they are twice as long. She won't be in it until she's a year old. Fit issues aside, these are beautiful socks. Excellent quality, nice and tight, matches the color. Just a pity the size is MUCH smaller.
