LimoStudio took two inexpensive, widely available, all-purpose, lightweight clips and connected them to a good gooseneck. These types of clips don't hold well on all surfaces (e.g. round objects like lamp stands) and the rubber grip often comes loose (you can prevent this by applying a few spots of glue). But with these caveats, if you put one clip in the right place, the other can hold a fairly large chunk of FomeCore, etc., used as a reflector or flag (light blocker) in a variety of positions

This clamp is pretty good. I needed something to support the foam sheets as reflectors and this helped! Gooseneck isn't perfect but I'm afraid it's the best product on the market for what I need. Also, the clamps are hardly too small to hold my desk effectively. Would like a larger version. Also, it was useless before we used a screwdriver to tighten the clamps where they connected to the gooseneck. Definitely give it a try if yours was free like mine.
