They were sold at a discount of about half the price. I've always heard how wonderful bamboo leaves are, so I was happy to give them to my son for such a good price. He said they were good for about 3 months but then they started giving ridiculous pills. White spots on everything he wore to bed. Then one night he went to bed in a red shirt, and the next morning the sheets had a brown "body outline" that stained the sheets and he had to throw them out. He said he now prefers cotton sheets.

Pros: The softest sheets I've ever slept on and they stay super cool. Disadvantages: Requires special care. You cannot store them as they wrinkle very quickly and need to be put straight out of the dryer onto the bed. After you've slept on them one night, they're bound to be crumpled the next morning, and when you make your bed it still looks dirty. I have bamboo panels from several different manufacturers and I have to say that they are comparable as far as they go. I've only washed them once so I can't comment on durability yet. But I will say that these sheets were half the price of others I've bought. They crease a lot in the dryer and after sleeping. Extremely soft, cool and comfortable sheets. This is my first experience with 100% bamboo so not sure if it's because of that or the manufacturer but they outperform 1000ct 10 year old cotton straight out of the bag.
