I bought these for my friend +3.00 are great for his eyesight. He's finally found glasses he can read in, and they're better than his current prescription. It comes with a nice soft case. I like the spring loops that allow him to open the arms of his glasses. Unfortunately, on the pair we received, the left lever barely opens, but the right works perfectly. The current price of $9.99 is competitive for that.

Pros
  • acrylic lenses
Cons
  • dim

Fogged lenses. Not very clear.

The feel of the frame is great. They feel high quality. My problem is related to the optical quality or lack thereof of the lenses. The magnification is ok, but the lenses look cloudy, as if they are permanently dirty, but they are not because I cleaned them thoroughly. This is especially irritating for close light. If I hadn't already thrown the box away I would return it and try something else. Since I threw the box away I guess I'll live with it until I find something better.

Pros
  • Strong hinges. The glasses have strong temples with strong loops, so they fit every face.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

optically good; for extra large heads

I'm lucky enough to be able to wear over-the-counter reading glasses instead of my regular glasses, and I have over-the-counter glasses scattered around the house because I roll. I have ordered many pairs from Revain and of course I have an opinion as to which are good and which are not. I have a 3.0 here, which is stronger than I need, but a strength I've found useful when my eyes are tired or when shooting close-ups. (It's hard for me to walk with 3.0 glasses, although it works with 2.0…

Pros
  • Lens width: 52 millimeters
Cons
  • No power
