🥗 Lipper International Acacia Oblong Salad Servers: Elegant 12" Long Wooden Utensils - One Pair Review

If someone gave this less than 5 stars, why? Pretty simple dish, you can use either or both to mix and serve salad. You can probably use it for pasta too, but they're meant for salad. I think you can rate it lower if you threw the salad on the table and couldn't mix the salad well with this utensil; but that would have been your fault because you should have ordered a salad bowl too.

Much lighter than expected. One of the side pins (and the center, less preserved) of the fork arrived unevenly hollowed out. This didn't happen en route as the set came together in a plastic bag and would have had a hollowed out part if it hadn't been shipped that way. Bad quality control. I was concerned that the hollowed out side would become weak and continue to deteriorate after use and washing. I returned it for a refund.

I bought these salad bowls here at Revain. Although they are lightweight and appear to be made out of cork, they work very well and are easy to clean. I've seen others write that they are fragile and break, but that's not my experience. They're light and I wish they were a little more durable, but at this price point they do the job. I would recommend buying these if you are on a budget but be aware that they are very lightweight. All in all a good pair of salad servers, although not as sturdy…

These cutlery pieces do not look like the picture. The servers I received were VERY rough. The shells are shallow and flat with thick walls. The necks are square not rounded as shown in the picture. The handles are not centered on the scales, and one of the handles is bent about halfway up the shaft. The finish is poor, many traces of sanding and abrasion. The salad bowl is so pretty. It is made of contrasting wood, good size and sturdy construction. Salad servers are small, made of cheap, untreated wood. I'm embarrassed to give them gifts like this and I won't do it. I hope I can bring them back to Kolya and buy something better there. I am very pleased to hear about your new partnership.
