Lippert Components Step 🚶 Control with Over-Ride - Model 909510000 Review

Completely restored my steps to new performance. I've already tested everything else with a volt meter (thanks to a couple of RV youtubers for the know-how) and it all came down to this part. Easy to swap out, just make sure you are not under steps when connecting.

Stage Control installed and functioning properly. The part number ordered differs from the one received. After a call to Lippert support, the numbers turned out to be equivalent. I suggest if a new or equivalent part is used note that the numbers are interchangeable.

Mine worked fine but some people need to make adjustments to accommodate it. Note that there are two different door opening sensors and you may need to replace yours or your footsteps will come out if you close the door instead of going in. If you call Lippert before ordering they can tell you which module number fits your door sensor.

Required replacement part received. I changed both the motor and the controls for the steps. The controller is attached with three screws. The replacement controller had an extra electrical wire than the original controller that could activate the RV's porch lights. For ease of installation, lower the steps by removing the pivot pin to lower the steps. This gives you a lot more workspace.
