Love the long grounding strap. The long screw could feel a little better on the base, but so far there have been no problems.

Mine appears to be well built, very informative for setting the gap and seeing the spark at the correct distance. Works well.

If you don't have one of these, you're missing out. This makes it much easier to find a spark and check the strength of the coils! Worth the money and very well built. It is not visible in the photo but there is a glass tube covering the spark.

Need a spark tester that will tell me more about spark strength, not just if there is a spark. This way I can easily check the spark and power to make sure there is enough spark! A bit expensive in my opinion, but good instruments are usually like that!

instructions rather poor. Once I figured out that I needed to know the secondary resistance of my coil, it was easy to set the resistance on the unit. no need to change the coil.

As many have already noted. The screw is inserted loosely enough to allow the tip to wiggle side to side 1/8 inch. Why does the manufacturer keep releasing it with such poor tolerance? I assumed the other reviewers had just received an old batch. Be sloppy and keep it up. Very bad quality!

I liked the speed of delivery but the manufacturer. could not report screw plate adjustment via "voltage output through coil from my car". Assuming they are all different but have a high output voltage, it is extremely important to know if you have a weak coil across the connector, adjusting the set screw will show if it is weak, faulty or working as expected. There should be a "Website Setup Guide" by Lisle < Mfg. so Joe can fix the problem and set the predefined voltage value for his car…
