Ideal for oil filter wrenches

As a diesel engine mechanic I have used duct locks, a vise and adjustable wrenches to remove the water separator sensor but it is risky and can damage the sensor. This tool is ideal for the Cummins 6.7 water separator sensor. Very good quality, my truck is Ram 2500 2018. Highly recommended

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality

Makes it easy to change the fuel filter

Makes it easy to remove the WIF sensor on a 2014 Ram 3500. Tips are to open the drain cock and drain, then unscrew the WIF and be prepared for some fuel to spill. Place the collector under the hole and then remove the male filter housing - you will get some liquid but it will go straight into the collector.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

This greatly simplifies the replacement of the fuel water separator.

I love that this simple tool makes removing the sensor from the bottom of the separator much easier and quicker. It's very nice to have, it fits perfectly in the plastic case and eliminates the need to remove the plastic with oversized padlocks or a crescent wrench.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fits 2013-17 Ram Trucks with Cummins 6.7 Engine β€’ Made in USA

Made in USA. This works on 2013-2017 Ram Trucks with a 6.7 Cummins engine. (Mopar Filter Part # 68197867AA) Ideal for sensor nut. The wrench is of high quality, with a rubber grip. I have included photos with the wrench on the filter gauge to show the installation. Hope this is helpful!

Pros
  • Super Fast Shipping
Cons
  • Fine

Suitable for Duramax and Cummins water sensors!

GREAT tool for the job! It also fits the Cummins 6.7 diesel water sensor, making it even more valuable to any mechanic (or DIYer) changing their own fuel filters. It's the perfect length to fit in the tight space that the filter sits in and short enough to properly touch the sensor without damaging it! I wish I had bought this instrument a few years earlier!

Very handy for Oil Filter Wrench

In case some of you were wondering if this wrench is absolutely necessary to remove the rear fuel gauge from the filter. Well it isn't. You can always use a wrench, but a writing tool makes the job a lot easier. The only thing this tool will do is give you peace of mind. You know that using a wrench will not round the edges of the PLASTIC nut, which I think will happen over time if you just use a crescent shaped wrench. I used this key on my 2013 Ram 6.7 Cummins.
