Bright and correct fit!

Finally found the right size! The brightness of these pucks is amazing, just three over the robe light up almost the entire room (10x20)! I like that they are LED. The previous homeowner installed washer housings but used mercury bulbs. They were dull and died quickly. These should last a very long time. I am very glad that I came across this product!

Pros
  • 90% energy savings compared to CFL lamps.
Cons
  • No instructions

Economical, bright

I've combined these with standard Bonlux GX53 lamp holders for under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. The brightness is excellent and the color of the light does not change the color of the granite countertop or glass tile backsplash. I originally had IKEA GX53 1000lm bulbs but this is a much more economical alternative with more diffused light. They aren't as well made as IKEA lightbulbs, but I've had them running for 4 months with no problems.

Pros
  • Input voltage: 110 VAC
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Not warm white, too bright

I bought these to replace my GX53 7W *warm white* compact fluorescent (CFL) light. They seem to work well and are easy to install. However, they are too bright for a 7-watt bulb and far from being warm white. In fact, despite the claimed 3000K color temperature, they are closer to bright white. I returned them. When I installed them they drastically changed the lighting in the kitchen - too bright. They no longer make replacement CFL bulbs for GX53 lights so I feel stuck with LED. I'll try a 5…

Pros
  • Litevance GX53 has a brightness of 560 lumens, warm white light of 3000K, soft light for the eyes.
Cons
  • Crumpled
