Very handy little filling pears - great!

Sometimes you need a background fill and you don't have room for something really big. With a gel kit, it's amazing. I grew up in the film industry where we used 10,000 tungsten 18,000 HMIs and 7,000 xenons to shoot on 35mm Panavision. Now 4K-8K is in the palm of your hand. It's amazing how far technology has come since the first camcorders I used in broadcast in the early 80's had 3 Saticon or Plumicone tubes. Still, we're talking about the lens and the shooter's eye :)

  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Nothing

Compact and lightweight

I love playing with this little flashlight, it's a lot brighter than you think. The magnetic part on the back of the lantern is very helpful when I'm trying to hang it up. The rubber sleeve fitted fairly well, but the diffuser kept falling off because of it. It's not that big of a problem unless you move with the light a lot. I wish there was a power indicator to know when to charge instead of waiting for it to run out. At the first level, the light doesn't heat up unless you leave it on for…

Bright, Compact, Light, Durable

I only bought one at first, but soon got a second one. They are light, compact, light, strong and easy to handle. The best thing for me is the different mounting options. I can use a cold shoe mount attached to a backpack or clothing, another on a small tripod or attached to a metal surface with a magnet, or a professional mount. The diffuser works well, but at the expense of some brightness. However, it's still bright enough for my general photographic needs. For some reason both my cameras…

Not quite waterproof when water turns to steam.

Well I can sing the good things about this LitraTorch Version 1.0, most have so far. 10 months and I have a problem. Have used it in the water for a long time. . It's truly waterproof as long as water doesn't seep through the lens of my LitraTorch through condensation. Water turns into steam and then back into water. Since then, some water has moved through the sensitive areas where the 8 LEDs are located. I don't think he's really gone that far, but he's definitely there. I've tried drying it…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Only available in black

Excellent light is good for illumination

I bought 2 of these lights for general photography. I also use them to light UAV scenes. I looked at Luma Cube lights and decided on these. I like the mounting options. It has a magnetic back and two 1/4 x 20 holes. It's pretty bright at 800 lumens, and if you're using two or more, that's all you need. There's no Bluetooth option and you can't use the light as a flash, but I don't need those features. You get about 30 minutes of runtime on the brightest setting. I set them up on a small tripod…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • For retirees

After weighing the pros and cons of his "mech "

A while ago I decided to try this light for night mountain biking AND as a photo light. I have to say he has his strengths and his weaknesses. First, it's NOT 2200 lumens except in flash mode. I still doubt it as I use it for photo effects at these settings and my exposure just doesn't reflect that (who knows?). I understand the company likes to say it's honest about lumens, but on the box and all the ads it says CLEARLY 2200 and it's only in the fine print that you'll see that it's actually…

Pros
  • , I have my fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
