After weighing the pros and cons of his "mech "

A while ago I decided to try this light for night mountain biking AND as a photo light. I have to say he has his strengths and his weaknesses. First, it's NOT 2200 lumens except in flash mode. I still doubt it as I use it for photo effects at these settings and my exposure just doesn't reflect that (who knows?). I understand the company likes to say it's honest about lumens, but on the box and all the ads it says CLEARLY 2200 and it's only in the fine print that you'll see that it's actually 800 at max brightness (for me the box is Not specified). By the way) Another disadvantage is that the flashlight does not charge for a long time. I mean it's like 40 minutes in the brightest light. That was disappointing to me given the applications I was considering. In terms of photography, I would like the light to work CONNECTED, but it wouldn't stay even then. On the plus side, it's compact, lightweight, and easy to take with you on moderate-level bike rides (as an optional helmet). Light.) Also good to use as a backup light in the studio for effects (just don't leave it on when framing!) and for night shots. For MY use, I don't think it was worth $80. Now, using it in low light with fast lenses and low light video where full lighting rigs aren't available, I can see the value. in this case. Let me rephrase this, if you're charging $20 for it, not including a cold shoe mount is awesome! I just got a third party for $5 so can you. If they make another version I want the battery to last longer if possible. If that doesn't work, then a replaceable battery? Is it possible to power from a USB port to a wall socket or from an external battery e.g. B. a phone backup battery to run? Oh, and please add at least one basic non-adjustable shoelace, that's just clever.

Pros
  • , I have my fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
