Bigger than pictured. It looks more appropriate in the photo. It's actually more of a down jacket. Also, the sleeves are unlined which was the main reason for the return. I wanted something all-encompassingly warm.

Bought for dog walks. It's a little looser than I would like, if it was an option I would have preferred a size down. So far, however, it has proven to be waterproof and windproof. Keeps me warm and dry. Large hood, large zip pockets. My main complaint is that the seams have threads sticking out here and there, so I'm not sure how long it will last.

Overall the jacket is very warm, comfortable and fits well with the adjustable shoulder straps. Even if the water doesn't seem to stick to the material, it will eventually seep through. It may be ok in light rain or rushing to the car in the rain, but not for heavy rain or long walks in the rain. 3 stars given because it is NOT fully waterproof as per the description and label but it is still a good coat. Ordered for outdoor work in cold, windy winter weather. Haven't tested it yet, but so far it's fantastic. The first test was to spend an hour or two in the freezing rain. I felt good most of the time! The coat was mostly water-repellent, but after two hours the hood and cuff edges became damp and took a long time to dry. But otherwise it's warm, windproof and my phone stayed dry in the waterproof front pocket! I love that the front pockets are lined with warm fleece material to keep cold hands…
