This came with crumbly litter but I figured if it worked it really wouldn't be a deal breaker. I tried potty training him but he wouldn't potty in the same spot. I tried to put it where it belongs but our hamster just ignored it and threw the litter out of the bowl. It's not something I would buy again.

Effective product for my dwarf hamster. Excellent clumping that makes it so easy to scoop that it leaves unused filler behind. MUCH better than Kaytee, which are giant granules that DO NOT stick together. Odor control proved very effective, again much better than the Kaytee. I clean the lumps every 2-3 days, there is no smell. I didn't go more than 3 days just to keep her closet clean.
