💡 Eliminate LED Turn Signal Hyper Flash with LivTee 4Pcs 50W 6ohm Load Resistors! Review

They came as described Easy to install If you look at some reviews on You Tube they say they get hot so install on a metal surface and follow please read these instructions. These are resistors that get energized every time the light flashes. I had the turn signal on when I installed them, they got hot to touch with my hand. I mounted mine on an aluminum frame on a core support.

These resistors work great and solved my hyper flash problem on my 2011 Ford F-150. Only thing is I had to replace the scotch locks with stronger ones to get the connection needed for proper circulation of electricity is required. The ones that came with the kit were very thin plastic and couldn't connect the wires properly. But in fact the resistors are top notch.

So I bought a red helix sequential light for my Camaro which looks great but since I have the LT model , unfortunately I got a hyperflare, but these bad guys will fix it. It was very easy to install, plus I didn't have to spend an extra $100 on an LED harness (no RS to RS converter) that Helix sells to solve this problem 😁👍. I will update this review after some time. This is why this product only got one star from me after removing the wire harness and putting it back in the bundle when soldering this item to allow the solder to come loose from the supplied As the manufacturer didn't use enough solder or didn't properly make sure the solder joints connected to the resistor, you basically have to redo the job to remove the wire harness, go back to fix your mistake if you don't use a soldering iron and Have solder ready to fix them then I would advise against

. Then the length of the wires wasn't long enough for me to get to the non-plastic mounting surface. I ended up looping the device/wiring so the resistor would hang in about 3 inches of airspace. After installation (and I tested them one by one) both the hyper blinking and the Dashboard Light/Bulb Off messages disappeared. This will now only be a temporary component to see if the crimp connectors fail or some other problem. Other than that, I'm very happy with the results.

Although the resistor itself is excellently made and even has a screw hole, do I have to deduct a star for the poor choice of wire insulation? Insulation on the cable? In 2020 I highly recommend you use heat shrink tubing around that cloth sleeve as they are known to not last forever and the last thing you want is for the damn thing to short circuit you.
