L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra-Rich Lip Balm, 0.39 oz Review

There was no plastic seal around the item. For me this is not normal as there is a pandemic going on right now. I literally wiped the top with an alcohol wipe because I have no idea if it was somewhere else. For a face/lip product this is unacceptable. There should be a sanitary plastic gasket around the lid.

Here's the problem. This is NOT the original L'Ocittaine lip balm. Protective film around the top. I strongly recommend that you think twice before ordering from this supplier/region and then DO NOT ORDER THIS. WILL DRY LIP SKIN SO THIS IS NOT A FAIR PRODUCT.

I originally got this lip balm as a gift at a spa. Feels great on sunburnt lips and looks lovely like gloss. If you're not used to using lip gloss, you might lick it off too quickly - it's not the same as a lipstick balm, which is much heavier and lasts longer. I love it and recommend it if you want a shiny type of moisturizer. It has no taste or smell.

You can never go wrong with L'Occitane products. I have very dry lips, sometimes they crack and sores appear. This lip balm helps them feel better and heal faster. It doesn't have to be constantly reapplied either. I'm not good with sizing, ounces, inches, etc., but it's also a lot larger than I expected, nearly double the size of other popular lipstick brands in similar containers you can buy at the drugstore.

L'Occitane Shea Ultra Rich Lip Balm has transformed my lips. I recently had surgery for skin cancer and had 24 stitches around my lips. After the operation, my lips became so dry. I can't remember ever having lips that dry. I did some research and saw that L'Occitane loved it so I bought it and oh my god it's true! THE BEST LIP BALM. I love this product! This is the second time I've bought it and will buy again. A wonderful product for those of us with dry lips after lip surgery.
