love magnets prevent slipping when i use them to stack pots on top of each other in kitchen cabinets for ease of use. Prevents scratches on the bottom of pots or pans or dents on other metal surfaces. Silicone is perfect for storing hot food, plus I slam fridge doors when pots/pans are in use until I need them for storage again. perfect design, a must for safely stacking dishes!

I love this coaster! We used to use a solid silicone trivet, but I didn't care if we put a big frying pan on the nicest (and oldest) dining table. The magnets are very strong, so the grid does not accidentally detach from the pan and the pan does not slip off the grid. The 5.75 inch diameter is probably a little small for our very large frying pan, but the height is high enough with this stand that I don't have to worry about that.

I love the magnetic mini coaster. It is very convenient to protect the countertops from the strong heating of the pans. Magnets on the top prevent the pan from sliding off the floor (like a cast iron stand) and lower "rubber" handles with good countertop resistance. Dishwasher safe although a quick rinse is all I need. I would be careful because the rack will stick to your pan if you pick up the pan and not put it back on the oven ear.
